Story Behind the Painting

This painting is of Arlington National Cemetery. Although it is a graveyard, Arlington is a beautiful place. I think the Spring cherry blossoms bring new life to the memories of the fallen American heroes. Although dead, the contribution of these men and women is renewed each subsequent year of freedom and peace.
