Story Behind the Painting

This painting is of the famous Loveless Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee. It is located on the outskirts of town off the highway and is a favorite of both locals and visitors. If you go there - be sure to try the biscuits.

I decided to paint the Loveless at dusk to show off its signature sign (apparently was formerly a motel). The rooms have since been converted to boutique shops and even an art gallery.
