This plein air painting is of the entrance to my absolute favorite Chicago neighborhood, Andersonville on the sliver forked intersection of Ashland, Clark, and Rosehill. I attempted to paint this scene twice and got rained on so it ended up being a 4 day effort. That's okay, though, as I have good friends who live in and near Andersonville and like the sign says it is "a great place to shop, dine, and live. I ended up hanging out at a few of the awesome neighborhood pubs.
The 12x16" stretched canvas is framed in black wood with a gold liner and ships via US Post Office Priority Mail.
