Story Behind the Painting
This painting is from my trip with Alan. I was madly in love at this point and thoroughly enjoying the start of a romantic tour of Europe after a week of business. He spoke a bit of German and liked Heidelberg the best of our planned destinations. This was a very happy day and I think also reflected in the tourists' expressions.
