Gilded Assassination

This painting is of the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood in Saint Petersburg, Russia. I visited Saint Petersburg on a day trip via the Princess Anastasia before the pandemic with my sister and we were able to see several historical sites. One of these sites was this ornate church built as a memorial to Alexander II by the Romanov imperial family at the place where he was killed.
