Story Behind the Painting

I wanted to do a still life of grapes to pay homage to the field workers who nurture them day after day noticing the various colors and shapes each strand produces. I love fine wine and have a real appreciation for the uniqueness of the air condition, soil, and handling involved - all which ultimately make the difference between a good vintage and a superb one.
