Story Behind the Painting

This is the original Smithsonian Institute "castle" building. I always thought it was in stark contrast to the more modern museums and looked kind of spooky a la Harry Potter. I never actually went inside, but have been in the American History and Space museums a bunch of times when I lived in Great Falls during middle school. As an adult, I was most interested in the art museums. The National Museum of Art has the biggest/nicest collection of Flemish paintings I have seen in one gallery.
