Story Behind the Painting
This is my horse, Vetta, in the foreground with her best friend, Charisma. Vetta and Charisma were living well in Prairie Crossing, a conservation community in Grayslake, Illinois. I was in my phase of playing "house" and trying to be the all American ordinary "wholesomella" wife. Vetta felt free as a bird running through the ample pastures, but I felt like a caged one trying to be someone I wasn't.
