Story Behind the Painting

Fort Baker is nestled at the base of the Golden Gate bridge accessible from the 101. It's got to be the most beautiful setting for military personnel. The red roofs are quite distinctive in the misty bay. Fort Baker is now a public park and is a great stop-over on your way to Napa Valley from San Francisco. I went there with George in 2002.
