Commission a custom painting of your child, grandchild, niece or nephew and receive a family heirloom you'll treasure forever. Art de Joie portraits are done ENTIRELY by hand (not via transferred/enlarged photo) in the realism genre - so will not only capture the personality and appearance of your small person, will also be an original painting in its own right!

I create detailed paintings from photographs, but can also paint on site if you want something more impressionist. I can work from your photo(s) or take my own.

People portraits are priced at $3.00 per square inch starting at 8x10" ($250).

The fine art commission process is as follows:

• Initial consultation - no charge
• Request to proceed to art creation. You will provide any special instructions like color, mood, and specific ancillary imagery. - 50% non-refundable deposit
• I will send you a sketch for your approval.
• Once approved, I will create the final art. - Balance of payment is due on delivery (emailed JPEG). There are no limits on alterations. I will rework the piece until you love it!
