Story Behind the Painting

This abstract, textural painting is of the Jefferson Park NW Metra train platform. It is titled "Empty Stop" because nobody in their right mind would be standing around waiting for the Metra train on this typical frigid Chicago Winter day. At least the CTA runs every 5-10 min, but with Metra -if you miss it - you're just screwed.
