Story Behind the Painting

Wrigley Field is the oldest major league ballpark in the country. Built in 1914, it has been in use for 97 seasons. I think they are going to be doing extensive renovations soon.

I thought this juxtaposition of the old ramp leading up to the bleachers with all the loyal Cubs fans dressed in full Cubby Blue fan wear peeping through was interesting.

Going to Wrigley Field on a nice Summer day is a must do Chicago activity!
